We’ve got exciting news: our brand-new fulfillment center in Bleskensgraaf is officially open! This state-of-the-art facility is not only a major expansion for Monta, but also an important step in our mission to make e-commerce logistics more sustainable and future-ready.
Our new site is designed with innovation and sustainability at its core. Some highlights:
Sustainable packaging: An advanced packing machine reduces empty space in boxes by up to 35%. That means less packaging material and more efficient shipping. Even better: packaging can be fully customized with logos, messages, or QR codes.
Autostore with robotic arm: This fully automated storage system processes orders at lightning speed, 24/7. It runs entirely on renewable energy and ensures minimal errors.
Smart energy solutions: Including a heat pump, LED lighting, and rainwater reuse.
Green innovation in action
Through our sustainability program, Monta E-co, we’re making big strides toward a greener industry. We partner with eco-friendly carriers, introduced the Eco Button at checkout (for more efficient delivery), and developed a smart Checkout Module that makes it easier for customers to choose a sustainable delivery option.
