How does warehouse management work with MontaWMS?
Step 1: Implementation and Integrations
MontaWMS is configured based on your warehouse layout and processes. Online stores, carriers, marketplaces, and, if applicable, ERP systems are integrated.
Step 2: Process Inbound Data
Incoming goods are scanned and immediately entered into the system. Each product is assigned a fixed location in the warehouse. Inventory is updated in real time and visible to all relevant systems.
Step 3: Picking Orders
As soon as an order comes in through your online store or marketplace, MontaWMS immediately directs the picker using optimal picking routes. This can be done using pick-to-light, put-to-light, a handheld scanner, or in batches with a picking list—whichever works best for your operation.
Step 4: Review and Send
Picked orders are verified via e-check, packed, and labeled with the correct shipping label. The system automatically selects the cheapest or fastest carrier based on your preferences and settings.
