25 November 2025 – The period leading up to Black Friday has once again proved to be an exceptionally busy time for Monta. The fullfilment company saw an increase of more than 32% in the number of orders compared to the same month last year. ‘It’s really crazy, several records have already been broken and Black Friday is yet to take place,’ says Leonard, CEO of Monta.
Monday 24 November was the “second best day ever” at Monta in terms of orders received. Sunday 23 November took third place in the top rankings. ‘The number one highest number of orders ever received at Monta was, of course, last year on Black Friday itself; we are confident that we will easily surpass that record this year,’ said Leonard.
Monta’s customers are active in all kinds of sectors, with striking growth figures in several industries. For example, there is a customer in bedding that is experiencing remarkable growth this year. “In addition, we are seeing strong growth among fashion webshops again this year, while webshops selling care products are also doing particularly well. When we look at the entire year so far and compare it with 2024, we see an increase in orders at Monta of 76% in the Health, Supplements and Vitamins category. Of course, this is a mix of new and existing customers, but we have never seen the popularity of a category on such a large scale before,” says Leonard.
This year, Black Friday falls relatively late, just like last year, with no extra weekend between Black Friday and Sinterklaas (a traditional Dutch holiday). It is expected that these purchases will further increase the pressure on warehouses over the coming days.
