Fulfillment company Monta continues to expand. Following the opening of its latest branch in Germany (Krefeld), it’s now time for the inauguration of a 17th branch in Belgium, located in Bornem. With this, Monta aims to better serve online entrepreneurs within the Benelux (thus catering to Belgian and French online consumers).
Edwin van der Ham, director of Monta, explains: “Last year, we opened a warehouse in Germany because Germany was becoming an increasingly interesting market for some customers, and we also received many requests from German webshops to handle their fulfillment. We now see the same happening in Belgium. By opening a warehouse in Belgium, we can process these orders and returns more quickly and easily, and it also allows us to cross the French border faster. The strategic location of the new warehouse in Belgium also enables us to offer later cut-off times to customers.
In addition to existing Monta customers, new clients such as Maniko Nails and Sepi Agari will also be served. Sepideh Asghari, director of Sepi Agari, states: “I want to conquer Belgium with my sustainable, high-quality bag label. It’s great to be able to outsource fulfillment to a company that values personal service; it feels reassuring to have a dedicated contact person and to be able to drop by occasionally. The most recent Monta branch was in Germany, and with the addition of the warehouse in Belgium, the count now stands at 17 warehouses. “And this is just the beginning of our international expansion. We are continuously rolling out our Cross-Border strategy. Due to Monta’s decentralized organization, we can grow rapidly. The next four European countries are also on the agenda for the coming period. It’s just a matter of time before Europe sees much more of Monta,” says Van der Ham.”
